When you come in for a SkinPen treatment, it starts with a personalized preparation treatment, which includes a topical numbing treatment to minimize discomfort.
The treatment itself consists of gently gliding the SkinPen device across the treatment areas. This can have a sandpaper-like sensation and may involve some pinpoint bleeding. We want to note that pinpoint bleeding resolves quickly. Additionally, patients are carefully monitored for any signs of pain or discomfort, and treatment can be stopped at any time.
